Lindsey started diving in 2007 and quickly fell in love with the sport. Her passion has taken her all over the world and provided her once in a lifetime experiences. From diving with whale sharks in Baja Mexico, to seeing the beautiful manta rays and sea turtles of Hawaii, SCUBA diving has been an absolute source of joy for her. It is of no surprise that she quickly took as many SCUBA classes as she could and became an Open Water SCUBA instructor in 2012. Since then, she has loved every moment of sharing her passion for SCUBA diving with her students. When she is not teaching SCUBA, Lindsey is a career technology instructor specializing in small animal science and care.
Cory is one of our recent additions to the Davey Bones Crew as a Divemaster and has been diving since 2011. He has worked as a Dive Technician / Paramedic in Fort Wayne, IN at a hospital based Hyperbaric Medicine / Wound Care Unit. Cory’s diving experience has taken him throughout the Caribbean, including Jamaica, St. Lucia, Grenada, Barbados, and Grand Bahamas.
John received his Open Water certification in 2014 and has been working ever since completing certifications in Search and Recovery, Underwater Navigator, Equipment Specialist, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Enriched Air, Emergency Oxygen Provider, Rescue, Master Scuba Diver, and Divemaster. John’s passion is shipwrecks and he is a member of MAST( Maritime Archaeological Survey Team) where he earned his certification in Underwater Archaeology.
Phil became a certified open water diver in 2013. He is certified in Advanced, Rescue, Deep, Wreck, Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Dry Suit, Night Diving, Search and Recovery, Enriched Air/Nitrox, Certified Nitrox/TriMix Blender, Equipment Specialist, Drift Diver, as well as Emergency First Response. Phil has also received certification as a Divemaster and Discover Scuba Diving Leader. He really kicked up the passion for diving while obtaining technical certifications in Tec40, Tec45, and Tec50. His interests lie mostly in deep wreck diving. He has a lust for rust! He enjoys leisurely drift dives on the reefs and walls of the Yucatan Peninsula and has aspirations of moving to the Caribbean someday. While diving is a serious sport that requires confidence and care he will make sure it is fun and enjoyable for everyone.
David's first certification was in 1974, as a SCUBA diver. David’s diving adventures have taken him as far away as Chuuk Lagoon diving WW2 wrecks, and as close as White Star Quarry. Some of his other favorite dive locations, include Grand Cayman, Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas, Bonaire, Hawaii, and the Keys. He became a Divemaster in 2016 and loves teaching Discover SCUBA and seeing the look in student’s eyes when they take their first breath underwater. His favorite saying is "The reason I love the sea I cannot explain – it’s physical". When you dive you begin to feel like an angel. It’s a liberation of your weight (Jacque Cousteau).
Will received his Open Water certification in 2015. Through an aggressive training and diving program, he became a divemaster in just over a year. He is also a “Discover Scuba Diving Leader” and has six specialty certifications: Deep Diver, Drysuit Diver, Search & Recovery Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Emergency Oxygen Provider, and Equipment Specialist. Will has a passion for underwater videography. One of Will’s favorite places to dive and shoot video is the Florida Keys. In the summer months, you will often find him teaching, pleasure diving, and making great memories with fellow divers at White Star Quarry. Will’s advice is, “Learn to dive and embark on one of life’s greatest adventures.”
After earning a Bachelors of Science in Law Enforcement Administration from Youngstown State University, Everett spent twenty-six years as a police officer and emergency medical technician, retiring in 1999. Everett started his diving education in 1980 and became an instructor in 1983. In 1989 he became a Master Scuba Diver Trainer. Since April 2006 he has been the equipment repair technician for several major manufacturers. His favorite dive locations, so far, are Truk Lagoon and Palau. He particularly enjoys underwater photography.
Scott began diving in 1991 with an Open Water Certification. In 2014 he became a SCUBA Instructor and EFR Instructor. Recently, Scott became a Master SCUBA Diver Trainer and an SDI Open Water SCUBA Diver Instructor and holds Specialty Instructor ratings in: Enriched Air Diving, Night Diving, Search and Recovery Diving, Underwater Navigation, CPROX 1st AED, Dry Suit Diving and Full Face Mask Diving. Scott is a Dive Team Commander and holds ERDI Public Safety Diver Instructor certifications in: Emergency Response Diving I & II, Dry Suit Operations, Full Face Mask Diving, Contaminated Water Diving Operations, Ice Diving Operations, Diving Tender, Swift Water Operations 1 and Small Boat Operations. To date, Scott’s favorite places to dive are Grand Cayman, Barbados and St. Lucia.
Capt. Michael Reed learned to dive while at Miami University in 1978. Mike grew up around the water and was a lifeguard and water safety instructor. Mike holds an OUPC or “six pack” license from the US Coast Guard. Mike and his First Mate Kathy have extensive experience in travel diving including the Caribbean, Hawaii and Fiji. Mike will tell you “Focus on your buoyancy, the rest will come easy”.
Chris started diving in 2014. He has always had a love for the water. He enjoys Cave, Wreck, and
Technical diving and is certified in numerous specialties. He is currently working on his full instructor certification.
Staci received her Open Water certification in 2016. She holds certifications in numerous specialties and
became a Divemaster in 2018. She also works as a medical professional and her expertise is a source of strength in the Davey Bones family. Staci loves diving and approaches each dive as a new adventure.
Mike started diving while working on cruise lines, primarily in the Caribbean. Upon returning to land Mike trained as a commercial diver and operates a business doing inspections, repairs, and recovery. In his off time, he is an active tech diver, typically on Great Lakes shipwrecks or in caves in Florida.
Lori grew up in NE Ohio and spent her summers fishing the waters of Lake Erie. She got her Open Water certification in 2011 and has been diving locally and throughout the Caribbean ever since. She became a Divemaster in 2016 and is also certified as a Digital Underwater Photographer, Underwater Navigator, Drift Diver, Emergency Oxygen Provider, Search and Recovery Diver, Deep Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver, and is a Rescue Diver. Lori loves to dive anywhere that gives her the opportunity to be in the water with sharks and turtles
Todd began diving while in college. He used the early scuba design of two tube breather. He earned his Open Water certification and completed his Advanced Open Water certification in St. Croix. He has been an avid diver for years, earning several specialties – Underwater Photographer, Underwater Navigator, Enriched Air Nitrox, Search and Recovery Diver, Dry Suit Diver, Rescue Diver, Oxygen Provider, Divemaster, and Whale Shark Diver. Todd has a wealth of diving experiences throughout the world.
Dan Golech became open water certified in October of 2007. Since then, Dan has taken the night, deep, wreck, buoyancy, enriched air, equipment, and rescue specialty courses. Dan then went on to become a Divemaster in October of 2011. He is also certified as a discover SCUBA diving (DSD) leader.
Jason was introduced to scuba diving in 1994 while attending the US Army Jungle Warfare School at Fort Sherman Panama. In 2011 he completed the Open Water Diver course. diver, Rescue diver, Drysuit diver, Enriched Air diver, and Emergency First Responder. Jason also has certifications as an Advanced Open Water. He has also taught numerous Discover Scuba courses. Jason’s love for the sport and attention to detail make him an exceptional member of the Davey Bones Scuba Center staff.
Cari has been diving since 2013 and is a certified Divemaster and Rescue Diver. She also has certifications as a Night Diver, Nitrox Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, EFR, Drysuit Diver, Search and Recovery Diver and Drift Diver. Cari truly enjoys diving and loves to share the sport with others. Mexico is her favorite dive destination and she and her husband Phil hope to have a home there eventually.
Adam was certified in 2003, prior to pursuing careers in the military and the civilian fire service. Adam loves to travel and has lived in five countries on four continents. In addition to Divemaster, Adam holds twelve specialty certifications. He started tech diving in 2019 and enjoys exploring wrecks in the Great Lakes, though any day underwater is a good day for Adam.
Chad started diving in 2009 while he was stationed in Egypt with the Military. He completed his Divemaster certification in 2019 and is now a member of the Davey Bones family. He has many dive excursions in multiple locations throughout the Caribbean and is currently making the transition into technical diving.
Terry got his Open Water Certification in 2002 and has been a divemaster since 2006. He also has certifications in Underwater Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Photographer, Deep Diver, Drysuit Diver, Wreck Diver, and has his Master Scuba Diver Certification. Terry is also certified as a Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) leader. Terry has a passion for introducing new students to scuba diving. His favorite dive location is anywhere with water.
